TOKYO
Tokyo and her sister, Zanzibar, were brought to the shelter in November 2020 after their owners decided they grew too big for their apartment. Since then, Zanzibar was adopted, but two-year-old Tokyo is still in the shelter. She was extremely shy at first and hardly let anyone touch her.
She spent a while isolated in the paddock housing 400 dogs, but after the volunteers began socializing with her, she grew friendlier by the day. Tokyo is now very active, energetic and playful and is eager to find a permanent, new home.
