Linda

Linda was a gentle and special soul who has spent most of her life in the shelter. She was born on a field alongside her siblings, with a mother who struggled to find food—digging through garbage near villages or catching mice to feed her pups. Sadly, her mother didn’t survive, and out of the entire litter, only Linda and one sister made it. While her sister was quickly adopted, Linda lived at Red Panda Romania for 7 years. She had always been a shy and quiet dog, never seeking attention or the spotlight. She needed a lot of time to build trust, which is why she needed a patient and understanding human. Linda had never shown aggression, was fantastic with other dogs, and actually adored their company of some. In 2024, Linda was suddenly diagnosed with an inoperable tumor that was affecting her health, leaving her with only a few months to live. The Red Panda staff's biggest regret regarding Linda is that, due to a lack of funds, they were never able to hire a trainer to help her overcome her fears and become more adoptable. Urgent cases always took priority, and Linda remained in the background, patiently waiting for love.

The Nectarly team will keep Linda’s page active in her memory, serving as a reminder that the price of "bare necessities" can't cover the cost of true happiness.
