Toto

Meet Toto, a chow chow mix, with a half blue tongue. He is a spirited little survivor who has faced more than his share of challenges: Toto was found abandoned and very ill, suffering from dirofilariasis, also known as a heartworm because it attacks the pulmonary arteries, and anaplasmosis, a disease spread by ticks. Despite his rough start, Toto has shown incredible resilience. He’s currently on a path to recovery and needs a little extra care – a monthly pill on the same day each month, continuing until this time next year. Toto’s infectious energy and playful spirit make him a true joy to be around. He was probably a famous footballer in past life, and he loves to run explore and by explore we mean digging as many holes in the ground as possible. He's sociable with most dogs and most humans (especially ones that play with him).
